RegionGap tracks what the same digital product costs in different countries: AI assistants, streaming and music subscriptions, apps, games and hardware.

What we measure

For every product we read the official price in each country’s store, convert it to US dollars with the daily reference exchange rate and compare it with the US price. We also adjust prices for purchasing power parity (PPP), because $10 does not feel the same everywhere.

How we keep it accurate

• Prices are collected automatically twice a day from official sources only.
• Plans are matched by name and price range, so an annual plan with the same name never replaces a monthly one.
• A price that jumps unusually far in one check is held for review instead of being published, and only goes live once it is confirmed.
• If a source fails, the last verified prices stay online and the page shows a “data delayed” badge.
